Progressive Insurance’s (Non) Moderation Strategy on Facebook

Social media insurance. Progressive Insurance’s (Non) Moderation Strategy on Facebook.

The Progressive Insurance team do a great job listening to conversations involving their brand, on social media sites.

I was looking for a catchy title. 😉 What I meant was that Progressive is very permissive and let facebook users post on their wall, even extremely negative messages.

They believe in transparency, and contrary to most financial institutions they put their mouth where their money is. I am a fan of their work on social media channels. I have already mentioned their approach to moderation on facebook, but I wanted to put even more emphasis on their fairly unique moderation strategy on the 500 million member social network.

I invite you to watch my short video including my comments and a few screenshots.

So, what is your moderation strategy?
