Nationwide fights phishers with MarkMonitor
Phishing is a growing concern for banks. Based on the number of phishing scam emails I received recently “from” Nationwide, it is no surprise that the bank teamed up with Markmonitor, the global leader in detection and enforcement of online corporate brand abuse (you will find the link to this news in Visible Banking News #3)

According to the March 2007 issue of the Business 2.0 Magazine, Markmonitor is one of the top companies to watch this year.

In March 2007 I met Greg – National Sales Manager (US) at the online_banking_summit_2007. Greg is extremely knowledgeable in Fraud protection. He introduced me to one of his colleagues based in the UK, Charlie Abrahams – VP & General Manager EMEA. Charlie was on of the top speakers at the recent e-crime congress 2007.

Congratulations to Charlie for signing this high profile contract in Europe!
