Facebook gamification helps Akbank attract 25,000 SMEs in 10 days. The Social SME app developed by Akbank is a facebook game which will last until March 29.

Using Akbank (@Akbank) products, Social SME is based on SMEs models for new virtual companies that aim to expand factories, increase capacities, raise the number of executives, and improve logical infrastructure to grow their businesses on real-time Facebook game.

Designed as an advanced version of the game Found and Manage which received over 15 awards, the game went live on February 25 and has attracted an incredible amount of attention. Last 14 March 2013, over 25,000 players participated and over 200 thousand Facebook game requests were sent.

According to Kaan Gür, Akbank’s Commercial and SME Banking VP, the game presents a great opportunity for entrepreneurs to create and develop their business. It will help them acquire valuable experience in the tough virtual competition.
