Community Bank Launches $10,000 Facebook Contest To Support Local Charities

Known for offering creative e-banking solutions, Summit Community Bank launches a $10,000 Facebook contest to support local charities and other non-profit organizations.

Community Bank Launches $10,000 Facebook Contest To Support Local CharitiesParticipants of the contest submitted their project ideas to aid the awareness of the organizations’ goals.

Summit Community Bank launched a Facebook application that allowed users to vote for their favourite organization. The community bank’s Facebook page features a voting ballot that contains the organizations eligible for the prize. Facebook users are encouraged to vote to give their favourite organization a better chance of winning.

Through the $10,000 Giveaway, the community bank aims to advance non-profit organizations in the Greater Lansing community.

Social media users are encouraged to vote and share the Summit Community Bank ballot to help create social awareness of the contest online.

The non-profit organizations that qualified for the Summit Community Bank’s Facebook contest are Big Brothers Big Sisters Michigan Capital Region, St. Vincent Catholic Charities, Michigan Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence, Mother Teresa House, Haven House, Capital Area Humane Society, Tomorrow’s Child, City Rescue Mission, Burcham Hills Retirement Community, and Habitat for Humanity Lansing.
