Russia’s VTB24 Bank is Proud of its 4,239 Check-ins on Foursquare Day (#4sqDay)

If we refer to this news on the bank’s website, It seems like VTB24 was proud to be the most active russian bank on foursquare on #4SqDay yesterday.

I’d like to thank my good friend, and Visible Banking Star, Daniel Gusev – former Innovation Manager at VTB24 and now Head of Innovation at PSBank.

VTB24 has announced a special ‘small prize’ for a check in at its headquarters as part of the Foursquare day 2012 celebrations. I would not judge the business rationale behind the move, but I see this as a demonstration of the bank’s willingness to innovate and adopt a more current approach to customer and employee relationships.

I have to admit that I wasn’t even aware of Foursquare day (I know…), are you aware of any other financial institutions which actively took part in the celebrations and promoted this event?
