Prosper & Zopa: new figures

Just a quick update on Prosper and Zopa.
On Monday, I found that article on finextra: Zopa raises $12.9m in series c financing; names Dolton global CEO.
“Since launching in the UK in March 2005, Zopa says over 135,000 customer have signed up to the service.”
* The series c investment raises Zopa’s total capital raised to $34m.
Last week I met Rob Klapper, CMO of Prosper, in Charlotte: we were both invited to speak at the online_banking_summit_2007. Yesterday, Rob left a comment on my blog.
“Good news here at Prosper – we are up to 230,000 members and about $45 Million of loans.”
Thank you Rob!
