EFMA’s Online Financial Services 2008: “Live” Blogging & Online Award

Efmaonlinefinance2008

It is a pleasure to participate to EFMA’s brilliant Online Financial Servicesevent for the second year in a row. I want to thank again Pol Navarro, Head of Innovation and Distribution Channels at Banco Sabadell, who recommended me to Philippe Van Fraechem, Programme Director at EFMA.

The line up is excellent, I invite you to check my previous post to find out more about the key speakers.

It is going to be another busy week. At work, I am fully focused on successfully taking my top three initiatives to the next level, get the go ahead from the Senior Management to contribute to the bottom line of the bank and drive our customer advocacy.

Tonight, I will attend the financial services club event on social banking & web 2.0 organized by Chris SkinnerTim Collins will update us on Wells Fargo’s social media strategy. Tim contacted me a month ago to make sure we catch up in London before the event in Athens.

Tomorrow morning, I will fly to Athens to catch up with Philippe before the kick-off on Wednesday.
I will contribute to the two EFMA events Online Financial Services and Mobile Financial Services. Philippe invited me to speak about social media, moderate a round table, and cover the two events for the EFMA.
I will then go to Paris to present my wrap up at the EFMA study dayon November 28th. J’espere avoir le plaisir de rencontrer mes nombreux lecteurs francais a cette occasion.

The three days will be (great) hectic, very challenging, and highly rewarding. I can’t wait to catch up with my peers and the EFMA team.

And thanks to Philippe for giving me the chance to speak in front of a couple of hundreds industry leaders on my birthday! 😉

“Live” blogging from Athens
I plan to cover both events on Visible-Banking.com while I am in Athens. If technically doable, I will publish a couple of posts everyday: a post with my pictures from the event, and my daily wrap up.

Stay tuned! I invite you to leave your comments on my blog “live” too.
