The Importance of Digital Innovation in Private Banking [INTERVIEW]

Citi Private Banking Dena Brumpton Digital Innovation Wealth Management

In her interview with Euromoney Magazine, Citi Private Banking’s COO, Dena Brumpton highlights the importance of digital innovation and client experience in wealth management.

Euromoney Magazine recently published the short video above as part of the Euromoney Innovations in Wealth Management Awards.

Dena Brumpton: “Innovation in private banking is critical and the bottom line is it’s all about the client experience.”

Earlier this year, Dena and her team updated their iPad app for their private banking customers, ‘In View’.

Citi Private Bank InView iPad App

Dena Brumpton: “It’s way more than an app, it’s a client engagement tool.”

The iPad app, which previously provided thought leadership content, now comes stocked with a number of data-driven services, including what-if scenarios, portfolio views, performance analysis tools, customized reports, and a vault to store documents like passports, among other services. Whatever the feature, the tech lets a banker and a client see the same financial data view to improve collaboration.

Please note that Citi has been piloting a video conferencing service via the In View app.

Insightful video where Dena summarised perfectly all the key challenges the wealth management industry is facing now -due to the constantly evolving client behaviours and expectations- and the necessity to push the digital transformation envelope even especially at your private bank or asset management firm.
