American Express Helps Small Businesses Track Expenses with Free Mobile Apps

Mobile payments. All American Express OPEN cardholders can now easily track business expenses with ReceiptMatch, Amex’s free mobile apps for iPhone and Android.

American Express Helps Small Businesses Track Expenses with Free Mobile AppsReceiptMatch for iPhone and Android is the latest added value service from American Express OPEN to its small businesses cardholders with the Business Gold Rewards Card, the Plum Card®, and The Business Platinum Card.

It provides members with control and peace of mind over their expenses. It also allows trusted individuals to access and manage the account, track their business expenses, get a snapshot analysis of the past year’s purchases, and download their current and previous transactions.

ReceiptMatch makes it easier to manage Business Card receipts by allowing small businesses to view and print store receipt images and transaction details of the online statement. It also allows American Express OPEN (@OPENForum) Card members to send receipts by snapping a photo, forwarding a receipt over email, or uploading from a computer.

In addition, it matches receipts to online transactions by scanning the purchase date, amount, and merchant name.

With ReceiptMatch, small businesses do not need to look for receipts and rely on written notes. The new app allows them to take a picture of the Business Card receipt using a Smartphone and matches the receipt to the appropriate item in the online statement.

Business Card members also receive a receipt matched to the appropriate item via email at receipts@open.com.
